The Cider Museum, Hereford is at 21 Ryelands Street, Hereford HR4 0LW. This is an obvious place to start on the Herefordshire Cider Tour. The museum also houses the Archive of Cider Pomology which was established in 2010 to provide a safe repository for material of scientific and historical interest relating to the pomology of cider and perry, their manufacture and associated crafts. |

Lyne Down Cider & Perry uses fruit mainly from our own orchards comprising some thirty different varieties of cider apples and perry pears. Still made the traditional way with an ancient wooden scratter mill and 120 year old antique stone twinscrew presses the extracted juice is then fermented in oak barrels until such time is ready for sale as draft or bottled farmhouse cider and perry. |

Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Co Ltd, manage the production and marketing of the cider and perry made at Broome Farm in Peterstow, near Ross-on-Wye. They also hold a Cider Festival in late summer, have a B&B, provide evening meals and cream teas at the farmhouse and have a small herd of lovely alpacas that graze for part of the year among the older orchards of cider apple and perry pear trees. |
