Butford organics is an organic smallholding specialising in cider, perry, pork and eggs.

 

 

Gregg's Pit Cider and Perry

Greggs Pit Cider and Perry, in Much Marcle, specialise in perry.

 

 

Henney's Cider

Henney's Cider are a medium sized producer of premium quality bottled cider that is available through supermarkets nationwide.

 

 

Hereford Cider Museum

The Cider Museum, Hereford is at 21 Ryelands Street, Hereford HR4 0LW. This is an obvious place to start on the Herefordshire Cider Tour.

 

 

Lyne Down Cider and Perry

Lyne Down Cider & Perry uses fruit mainly from our own orchards comprising some thirty different varieties of cider apples and perry pears. Still made the traditional way with an ancient wooden scratter mill and 120 year old antique stone twinscrew presses the extracted juice is then fermented in oak barrels until such time is ready for sale as draft or bottled farmhouse cider and perry.

Olivers Cider and Perry - Craft producers of fine and distinctive Herefordshire ciders and perries; in bottle and draught.

 

 

Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Co Ltd

Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Co Ltd, manage the production and marketing of the cider and perry made at Broome Farm in Peterstow, near Ross-on-Wye. They also hold a Cider Festival in late summer, have a B&B, provide evening meals and cream teas at the farmhouse and have a small herd of lovely alpacas that graze for part of the year among the older orchards of cider apple and perry pear trees.

You will find us approximately 3.5 Km South East of the intersection of the M42 and the A38, just off the B4096 at Broad Green, about 400m down a lane cut through the sandstone. A wall mounted post box is at the bottom of our driveway. The OS Grid reference is sheet 139 (Birmingham) SO 990701.

3 Counties Perry

Three Counties Perry is a slowfood presidium which aims to:

  • Raise awareness amongst consumers and the general public of perry;
  • Safeguard biodiversity;
  • Maintain, protect and enhance the skills involved in the production and marketing of perry.

Toloja Holdings produces Cider and Apple Juice, with Perry planned for 2005/06, and has also planted a 100 tree orchard museum using only Welsh varieties of apple and pear trees. In addition Toloja are breeders of rare breed animals.
